A VERY SPECIAL BOY NEEDS A VERY SPECIAL HOME Gummy bear Roger.

We can’t share much about his past, his former owners are now under prosecution, but what we can say is that this little boy was utterly broken when he arrived.

He had been failed by humans in every way imaginable. His back was bald, his skin sore and raw. His mouth was in an absolutely horrific state.

His teeth were so severely infected that every single one had to be removed during an emergency dental procedure. While under anaesthetic, it was discovered that his jaw was in such bad condition, it was nearly at the point of needing to be wired. Thankfully, he just avoided that, but the infection had caused deep damage and an open wound. Despite everything he’s been through, this boy is still full of love. He is gentle, affectionate, and so incredibly smart. All he wants is someone to love him.

He adores sitting beside his person and having one on one cuddle time. That’s where he feels safe. In just a few weeks of love and proper care, his fur is already growing back beautifully. He’s starting to feel like a dog again and it’s been a joy to see. He does have slight food aggression with other dogs, understandable, given what he’s been through. But he has no issues with people. He simply needs someone patient who understands that trauma doesn’t disappear overnight. He deserves someone who will give him:

A quiet, loving home

A soft diet, as he now has no teeth, only gums

A lap to sit on and arms to make him feel safe, he loves cuddles & to be made a fuss of

Time, patience, and understanding
